Presenting an exceptional lighting exhibition with new cutting-edge designs and visuals on Viabizzuno as well as the founder and creative director, Mario Nanni, the limited-time installation takes the city’s interior design scene by storm. House of Madison - Hong Kong’s unique townhouse concept that brings together forerunning design, premium craftsmanship and co-creation - proudly presents a brand-new interactive display of the renowned Italian lighting brand, Viabizzuno, with an immersive “see the light” experience, crafted by the globally celebrated lighting designer, Mario Nanni. The installation is a showcase of the most innovative, new lighting products from Italy that are designed to inspire, impress and admire.
The Viabizzuno Library of Light at House of Madison invites guests to both see and feel the light, fully immersing themselves in the interplay of light and space, as the brand designs light from the darkness in order to “see the light” in its purest form. “To design is a form of the verb ‘to love’. The way to display light is to tell and unveil it, as light must be read, interpreted, heard and tasted like a good book with a love story. A display within the Traccia System across an entire wall, made up of books of light, an infinite Library of Light in which white boxes are the casket that holds the lamps”, says founder and creative director, Mario Nanni, about the new installation.
Products Highlights at the Library of Light will include:
Coppibartali – The iconic Coppibartali light is conceived and designed with the idea of creating an electrified chain which unifies form and space, giving a single piece from a modular system the possibility of becoming a distinctive table lamp or a floor lamp. Due to its nature, it can be folded or unfolded, offering endless design opportunities to craft completely unique objects.
Da Ma – Conceived for Valentino boutiques, da ma is an exceptional creation by the talented architecture and design duo, David Chipperfield and Mario Nanni, composed of stacked profiles of natural brass with biconcave lenses. This one-of-a-kind collection reveals a sophisticated perception of lighting which not only enlightens but elevates the perception of space, transporting the voyeur into a new sphere between light, place and time.
Traccia Piu – Thanks to the Traccia sistema/system, it is now possible to create system structures with vertical struts called "Tracciapiù/plus" for floor-to-ceiling installations by fixing the adjustable lower and upper feet. The electrified quick joint allows one to easily and quickly customize structures according to the needs without the use of tools. The cutting-edge Traccia system concept allows the brand to expand its range of atmospheric lights offering more complex concepts for systems, where shelving creates not only a structure but a display element through the interlocking of special design components to build a truly multifunctional housing element.
n55® terra – n55® terra presents the self-standing application of the innovative n55® system. Top-tier lighting performance is combined with an equally impressive level of environmental sustainability. With high efficiency and low energy consumption, the n55 can drastically reduce the waste of energy and material, whilst it can also be recycled. Its pioneering n55® bulb defines the future of design, combining aesthetics and environmentalism like never before and taking the art of lighting design to a whole new level.
