Photo: Koroda Takeru © Roni Horn生於1955年的霍恩以概念性作品聞名中外，透過豐富的創作媒介，如攝影、雕塑、繪畫和書籍，展現以大自然為主題，而又風趣幽默的系列作品。1975年起在冰島偏遠地區獨自旅遊的經歷，啟發了她的生活和創作視角。是次展覽聚焦霍恩從八十年代至今的藝術創作，探討她在當下世界觀與真相觀變幻無常的時代提供的不定性空間，藉着不同環境與水產生不同的關係，從而改變水的形態和外觀，反映東亞哲學裡常會提及的人類心靈與世事無常議題，讓我們在永不歇息的河川裡，也能找到內心自省的勇氣和靈感。

Photo: Koroda Takeru © Roni Horn在泰晤士河攝影系列《靜水（例如泰晤士河）》《Still Water (The River Thames, for Example)，1999》中，霍恩對水面進行了大量詳盡註解；在《你就是天氣，第二部分》《You are the Weather, Part 2，2010-11》裡，霍恩拍攝了一名女性於六個星期間，在冰島溫泉的100幅特寫肖像，記錄她不斷變換陰晴的面部微妙變化。

Photo: Stefan Altenburger © Roni Horn另外還包括了以冰島地圖為基礎的繪畫作品，以及令人聯想起水面反光的玻璃雕塑。後者可說是霍恩近年最重要的作品，以玻璃非固體、也非液體的曖昧身分，來回應藝術家模糊而開放的創作。在美術館和外在的森林也擺置了這些玻璃雕塑，透過光線折射和倒影，帶出靜止與動態、溫柔與強硬、表層與深淵、透明與巨型體積之間的矛盾特性。而視之為「就像呼呼一樣」的繪畫活動，則是霍恩自1982年創作至今一直不曾變化的創作方式，以抽象的線條和圖案，交織出處不同的也有出處不同的詩歌、戲劇文本，在七件達三米高的大型畫作裡，與會者能近距離觀察霍恩在作品裡糅合的手寫符號、記號與切口，暗喻作品曾為切碎再以精細手工重組。
