接二連三的藝術盛典在香港隆重展開，致力在亞洲當代藝術市場培育藝術家及藝廊的Art Central載譽歸來，本年更聚焦香港藝術家及藝廊，參展藝廊總數逾50間，當中超過20間首次於Art Central亮相，包括香港的Touch Gallery、Double Q Gallery和Square Street Gallery，以及來自台中的田奈藝術、路沙卡的Mwimbi Fine Art等國際知名藝廊。今年展覽亦邀得多位香港藝術家參與藝廊展商、公共藝術項目、藝術裝置策劃團隊，人數為歷年之冠，在大會教育伙伴亞洲協會香港中心的一系列公眾講座、錄像及表演藝術展演裡，亦可以找到他們的身影。

參展藝廊分成三大展區，包括「中點」藝廊區 (Chung Dim Central Galleries)、「過位」策展攤位區 (Gwo Wai Curated Booths) 以及「獨特」個人展區 (Duk Dak Solo Presentations)。「中點」藝廊區意即「中心點」，除展示國際知名藝術家的作品外，亦肯定 了Art Central 作為亞洲當代藝術市場的中心，焦點包括LEE & BAE (釜山) 展出三位韓國知名藝術家 Jinwook Yeom、Seungtaik Jang 和 Seontae Hwang 的作品。除了Jinwook Yeom 備受激賞的巨型系列畫作「山之回憶 (Memory of Mountain)」，還有 Seungtaik Jang 極度簡練，探索色彩、透明度和疊影的概念藝術作品。Seontae Hwang 的蝕刻及印刷燈箱則創造出不同立體空間，喚起跟舒適、溫度和時間有關的觸感。

JPS 畫廊 (香港) 則帶來藝術新面孔，包括本地新星 Afa Annfa，其作品擅長捕捉人類心智與物質世界的衝突，詰問人類情緒的複雜性，以及Adam Linn (美國) 描繪扭曲而浮誇的擬人世界畫作，進而探究自我發現和親密情感等議題。

「過位」本屬粵劇術語，用來形容表演者台上走位，此策展攤位區是用以展示創新項目的平台，每個單位最多展出三位藝術家的作品為限，立體呈現強烈而突出的參展構思，當中包括首次參展的Mwimbi Fine Art (路沙卡)，帶來 Lee du Ploy (香港) 和 David Makala (贊 比亞) 兩位藝術家探索種族、權力、傳統、地方與身分議題之作。

Soluna Fine Art (香港) 今次年呈獻三個南韓藝術家或組合的創作，分別是 Kim Young-Hun、Kim Sun-Doo，以及二人組合 Lee Kyou-Hong 和 Song Kwangik，從傳統韓國山水景物畫，到單色畫和極簡風格的混合素材作品，還有當代抽象繪畫，展現多元豐富的美學實踐；另外還包括由以香港為基地的藝術家 Lousy 主理的Square Street Gallery (香港) 策展攤位。

來到陳列藝壇後起之秀和著名藝術家之作的「獨特」個人展區，則見Double Q Gallery (香港)、Galerie Zink (瓦爾德基興)和Contemporary by Angela Li (香港)，前者以匈牙利藝術家 Gizella Rákóczy 為焦點，欣賞她按照數學公式的創作，蘊含對未來的幻想和展望，散發理性美學的獨特魅力；Galerie Zink (瓦爾德基興) 帶來Gregory Forstner 的全新繪畫作品，體驗人類天性在她大膽而充滿情感力量的筆觸和色彩下的模樣。Contemporary by Angela Li (香港) 將呈獻本地新星畫家黃詩慧的系列新作，藉着銘刻和擦除，以回應記憶的衰失和重溯的過程。

Art Central「異體」雕塑及裝置項目將展出六件大型作品，策展主題為「魔法念動 (Thinking Magic)」，2022策展顧問瞿暢對此解釋道：「『異體』2022 的大型裝置作品不約而同地彌散著魔法的奇幻魅力。它們並非是孤立於現實的想象，而是與我們時代中的記憶、信仰、情感、習俗及危機深刻交織的『魔法念動』。」獲選單位包括Afa Annfa (JPS 畫廊，香港)、Batten and Kamp (知音畫廊，首爾及香港)、 Márton Nemes (Double Q Gallery，香港)、李秉罡 (Soluna Fine Art，香港)、杜煥 (CWC Art Gallery，香港) 以及梁水演 (藝途畫廊，香港)。
