Nestled along the sun-drenched Athens Riviera, where the Aegean's cerulean embrace meets a vibrant city pulse, the Ace Hotel & Swim Club Athens interwoven different eras, exquisite design, and local climate

This 120-room sanctuary, a short distance from the bustling city core, blends the naturalist ethos of Greek modernism with the timeless allure of 1970s coastal resorts. Preserving the formidable Brutalist framework of the erstwhile Fenix Hotel, it’s a beacon of adaptive reuse, offering a sprawling public lobby, an all-day ground-floor restaurant, an expansive pool, a charming cafe, and a gallery space. There’s also a spectacular rooftop pool, restaurant, and bar with promising unparalleled vistas.

The visionary French architecture and interiors studio ciguë, celebrated for their meticulous research and bespoke creations, spearheaded the hotel's architectural and interior design.

Drawing profound inspiration from the iconic Greek architect Aris Konstantinidis - whose post-war modernist designs, particularly his Anavyssos summer residence, achieved a poetic harmony with their surroundings and defined a regional design identity - ciguë embarked on a complete interior metamorphosis. The redesign seamlessly incorporates locally revered materials such as ceramic tile, warm wood, and grand plaster frescoes.

These quintessentially Greek elements are artfully woven into ciguë's interpretation of the Ace aesthetic, culminating in a space that reverently acknowledges the local topography and traditions while exuding an inherently modern sensibility.

Ace Hotel & Swim Club Athens is a vibrant canvas of art and design. Custom furniture and lighting by ciguë coalesce with iconic 1960s and 1970s design pieces, meticulously sourced by Back To The Future, paying homage to the building's genesis and the Riviera's golden age. The hotel's extensive and thoughtfully curated art program imbues both public and private spaces, magnificently underscoring the richness of Athens’ contemporary creative renaissance. Though defined by its geometric purity and striking structure, the hotel invites a leisurely blurring of indoor and outdoor boundaries, with a sprawling ground floor that gracefully extends from the lobby through to the expansive pool and ground-floor dining area. From the rooftop, guests are treated to cinematic seaside and mountain panoramas, enjoyed from the tranquil dipping pool and the forthcoming rooftop restaurant and lounge - offering a welcoming haven for both locals and travelers to immerse themselves in the enduring allure of the Athens Riviera.
